Stellar Pink Flowering Dogwood

One of my favorite early spring bloomer is this Stellar Pink Flowering Dogwood. This year is my first time seeing this dogwood bloom in our garden. The other kind of dogwood tree has not bloomed. We just planted them last year.

Red Maple Leaves and The Sky

Don't you love the beautiful blue sky. I took this picture the other day when I noticed the clear sky. This is one of the biggest red maple tree that we have in the yard. Since, its spring time, the leaves are coming out again.

After The Rain

After a Rainy and windy weekend...

This is the side of the river where we walk around every now and then.

Wet road going down to the lowest part of the walking trail.

See how high the water level was? Even the low part of the walking trail where people can walk was flooded.

The sign in the blue signboard says "River Walk". My husband said River Swim.

Very cloudy and dark sky. It's not yet over. Here comes the rain again.

The other side of the river walk. I love the greener grass.

This is not the huge Mocca Java coffee maker. Strong river current.

Did you see the Flamingo? He don't understand where to go.

This river duck is so adorable. He was staying at the very side of the river, having his peace while the current of the water was so strong.

In the shallow part of the river, I noticed this flat shell turtle. He was floating and was showing his head on top of the water but hide when he hears a commotion.

The Dog and The Ducks

Watching these adorable ducks swimming on Lake Oliver for hours was a delight.

The peaceful Lake Oliver in Columbus, GA. We sometimes come here to go fishing for fun. Most of the time, we just sit in any corner of the bank and enjoy the view.

The popular Regal Cinema. It's huge.

I took these pictures during our Valentine 2009 trip to North Georgia. Notice the sky? It was cloudy and looks like a heavy rain is coming. It was so windy and cold, I did not open my car window. See my reflection?
